How Jesus Christ Prepared Himself For His Earthly Ministry With Fasting and Praying

Before Jesus Christ started his earthly ministry just as our father in heaven directs him, he had to prepare himself spiritually before facing the unique calling he was called to do on this earth.

Jesus has come to show us the best example we have to follow, what this his prayers means is that everything we need to do in this world that we should first seek the face of the God to seek for his power, protection, and guidance in other for us to succeed in everything we are doing in our lives and the mission we are going to fulfill in this life. If Jesus Christ was able to acknowledge this if he was able to know that first he had to deprive himself food and water for 40 days and 40 nights in other to get the power he will use in conquering the world and the strength he will use to do his work in this world.

In the book of Mathew chapter from verse 4 from verse one, it helps to understand that Jesus Christ led up himself to the withered to seek the face of his father.....

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Going through this scripture we should understand that it is better we seek the face of God in the name of Jesus Christ for him to guide us in our mission and help us conquer anything and everything that comes our way.

After he has fasted, Satan came to tempt Jesus Christ with the promises he has promised people of today but because Jesus has prepared himself prior to that period, he was able to place satan where he belongs to and was able to conquer other temptations and trials he faced in his entire earthly ministry
